Law Contradicts Activists' Claims About Gas Tax Use

There has been news recently about some lawmakers and activists hoping to repeal the gas tax indexing law.  Click the link below to an article in which State House News attempts to clarify some of the claims proponents to repeal the gas tax have been making.  Proponents have been stating that gas tax goes to the General Fund.  However the Gas tax is dedicated to transportation by law.

Gas tax is a sale tax implemented imposed on gasoline tax. This law can be vary by state to state. This can be apply which varies from one state to another state. Local laws can be considered for the specific requirements in your area. It differ from area to area. This Gasoline tax can also be referred to Petrol tax, fuel tax or fuel duty etc. This tax funds are dedicated to be used for the transportation or road s purposes so that gas can be considered to be user free.
